Formulation of the New "Colorado 500 Ministries" November 1, 2004 Wally Dallenbach announces the formation of the Colorado 500 Ministries. Its purpose is to expand the work done by Chaplain Hunter Floyd for all those in the Colorado 500 family. Riders on both 500 events are familiar with Hunter's participation in the activities and ceremonies that are part of the week's activities. Colorado 500 Ministries will exist to become a resource to the riders and staff year round. The initial focus will be on the areas of encouragement and counsel, resource materials, help in finding a good church home, and general assistance in developing a solid personal spiritual foundation.
